BEHIND THE SHOOT DAISY LOWE FOR LARA BOHINC
The Lara Bohinc Spring Summer 2012 campaign was shot by Jon Compson and features British model Daisy Lowe in the parlour at London’s Sketch. The scenes depict a glamorous woman who has returned home from a decadent party.
The campaign shoot focuses on the brand’s scarves, handbags and jewellery; each an expression of the modern vitality at the core of the Lara Bohinc philosophy.
Bohinc, the company’s creative director says: “I was inspired by old Biba campaigns featuring cushions and fabrics scattered everywhere and girls plunged deep into their sofas, look other wordly”.
Daisy Lowe has recently been labelled as the new style icon of her generation. Miss Lowe was the perfect model for this seasons campaign shoot with her captivating on screen charisma. Creatively combining the innovative accessories and styling, with the opulent backdrop of London’s Sketch give the whole campaign the perfect Biba feel.
